Welcome to the 5-day Basic Class in Jin Shin Jyutsu
Are you looking for a powerful, holistic method to bring balance to your body, mind, and soul? The 5-day Jin Shin Jyutsu® Basic Class offers intensive training in which you learn to work with the ancient art of energetic harmonization—both for yourself and for others.
This intensive course is intended for anyone who feels called to discover or further explore the power of touch and self-care. You will not only learn the fundamental techniques and theories of Jin Shin Jyutsu, but also how to put them into practice.

from Tuesday, March 24 to Saturday, March 28, 2026. (09:00-18:00)
The Jin Shin Jyutsu teacher is Kelly Mount,
The course will be translated by Marna Schauten.

About the Course
What will you learn in the 5-day Jin Shin Jyutsu Basic Class?
This class is taught by certified instructors from JSJ Inc. and Jin Shin Jyutsu Spirit Mind Body.
You will receive an internationally recognized certificate of participation.
The training is divided into two parts. In the first part, “The Fundamentals,” you will learn the basics of Jin Shin Jyutsu during the first 3 days, and in the second part, “The Deepening,” you will learn more advanced applications of Jin Shin Jyutsu during the last 2 days.

Part 1 – The Foundation (3 days)
- Introduction to the Trinity Flow
- Introduction to the 26 Safety Energy Locks: their locations, meaning, and function
- Understanding the Depths within the body
- Fundamentals of the Physio-Philosophy of Jin Shin Jyutsu
- Daily practice sessions in small groups (giving and receiving treatment)
Part 2 – The Deepening (2 days)
- Understanding the 12 Organ Function Flows
- Techniques for pulse diagnosis and body reading
- Application of the Special Body Function Flows
- Theory & practice: harmonization of body, mind, and spirit
Please note: Part 2 can only be taken after completing Part 1.
Class Fees and Certification
For new students, part 1 costs €570 and part 2 costs €380 (together €950).
For repeat students, part 1 costs €399 and part 2 costs €266 (together €665).
If you would like to attend just one day, the cost is €173 (refresher only).
This course is free for those under 18!
After completing your first full 5-day class, you will receive a certificate of participation. Once you have completed the class three times in full, you will receive a second certificate, which means you will have met the minimum training requirements to become a Jin Shin Jyutsu® Practitioner.
Preparation for the course
If you don’t know much about Jin Shin Jyutsu yet, there are a few things you could do:
- Take Marna Schauten’s Online Self-Help Course 1 (available in Dutch and English)
- Book an individual Jin Shin Jyutsu session with Karin Zuur (or check the website for Dutch Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioners in your area)
- Listen to the podcast with Kelly, created by Marna Schauten (the translator of the course) for more inspiration!
The Team

Instructor: Kelly Mount
Kelly Mount is a dedicated Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner and teacher, affiliated with both the Mary Burmeister Jin Shin Jyutsu Institute and Jin Shin Jyutsu Spirit Mind Body.
Background:

- Former Program Manager of the Mary Burmeister Outreach
- Certified Massage Therapist
- Passionate teacher of Jin Shin Jyutsu for adults, children, and animals
- Regular speaker and facilitator of self-help groups, including those for people with cancer

Translator: Marna Schauten-Kruijt
Marna first encountered Jin Shin Jyutsu in 1995. She benefited greatly from the Jin Shin Jyutsu treatments she received then and later. Since 2002, Marna has been working more intensively with Jin Shin Jyutsu, taking various courses in the Netherlands, Europe, and the US. Her practice was established in 2004 after receiving requests for sessions from those around her.

Organizer: Karin Zuur
Karin discovered Jin Shin Jyutsu in early 2015. During her pregnancy, she received treatments from Marna and recommends them to everyone. She felt her daughter dancing in her belly during and after the treatments!
After giving birth in early 2016, she happily took various courses on Jin Shin Jyutsu. She opened her practice in 2018.
